PRONOVIAS is a family firm that began life in 'El Suizo', a prestigious Barcelona store founded by Alberto Palatchi Bienveniste in 1922 that specialised in lace, embroidery and high-quality silk fabrics. What started as a family business would later grow to become Pronovias. In 1964, when Alberto Palatchi Ribera joined, the company pioneered the creation of the first prêt-à-porter bridal fashions, a revolution at the time, which made wedding dresses accessible to all women. From the first sketches to the delivery of garments to the stores, the entire process is supervised by the design and product team. This traceability guarantees quality, excellence and application of best practices when creating each and every dress. More than 70 people and the savoir faire of a bridal atelier with more than five decades of experience in the craft, devote their talent and sensitivity to create the world’s most important bridal collection. The design, modelling, pattern making and finishing teams at company headquarters work in close collaboration, tracking market trends and paying close attention to every last tiny detail, making each piece unique.
